Is it time for a career change?

Hey Reader!

The agents who join the FI Team have a similar goal – they want to reach financial independence and help others achieve financial independence through real estate investing.

At our recent House Hacker’s Meetup, our lead agent, Chad Rocke, spoke about the synergy of growing his real estate portfolio (building long-term, generational wealth), while working as a real estate agent (earning income) and how his day-to-day operations of being an investor-friendly real estate agent supports both goals.

Here were some of his key points (and if any resonate with you, maybe you too should consider a career in real estate!!)

  1. As an agent/investor you can put your commissions back into your investments. This can help you close on properties with zero down – or even better taking home a check.
  2. You have access to the best deals. A lot of real estate happens before the MLS. As an agent, especially on a team of other investors, there are all sorts of opportunities available to you first.
  3. You’re constantly learning from your deals to make your clients’ deals better, and vice versa. By submersing yourself into real estate you’re learning more than the average property buyer knows, which is super advantageous to growing your personal portfolio.

So, if you’re reading this at your 9-5 job right now, and curious if you could swing a career change to become an agent, reach out! We’d love to hear what your goals are!

And if you’re thinking – hey Craig, isn’t the market slowing down and agents are dropping out of the industry? Then definitely reach out so I can tell you my favorite analogy about “sharpening the axe”!!

Here’s a link to my calendly if you want to chat more about what it takes to make six-figures as an agent.

Stacey’s incredible journey began when she lost faith in a system that criminally underpaid nurses. Determined to reclaim her power and take control of her financial path, she taught herself how to find and land great real estate investments. In just 18 months, she achieved an impressive milestone of acquiring eight doors by purchasing four duplexes in Florida, all funded on her dime.

In this episode, we discuss the power of house hacking and Stacey’s experience rehabbing C-Class properties. She also talks about overcoming challenges every investor goes through analysis paralysis, the importance of “speed to lead”, handling contractors, and raising tenant rent.
