Family, finances and faith, some of my favorite subjects. If you've ever driven in the car with me, we've probably chatted about these topics, and gone deep into what we agree and disagree about.
I love getting to know who people are on a deeper level.
With the holiday's coming up you're probably getting served a lot of blogs and news articles with conversations topics you should and shouldn't have at your holiday gatherings....like avoid politics, religion and personal finance...keep your conversations to hobbies and personal achievements. Boring!
I challenge you to have real conversations with your family and dinner guests this holiday, and keep an open mind! There is so much to learn by connecting with others at a deeper level.
This Thanksgiving, Grace and I will be doing our favorite thing to do... absolutely nothing. We'll be watching movies, relaxing, and playing with our animals. No extravagant cooking, no football, nothing! Just giving thanks to God for all that he has blessed us with. And I'm sure we'll get into some good, fun conversations too!
